Vol 3, No 1 (2012)

This journal issue represents the work of the students in Ethnography of Popular Music (MUSC 2080), a graduate seminar offered by Kiri Miller at Brown University in the spring of 2012. Two graduate students (Johnson-Roberson and Stein) and two undergraduates (Osburne-Rothstein and Pradhan) completed journal projects for the course. Each student produced a project proposal abstract and an annotated bibliography, as well as a conference-presentation-length final paper. The students went through several peer-review rounds in which they provided and responded to feedback on each others' work. The authors retain the rights to their work and may have further plans for it in terms of publication/presentation in other venues. If the final project for any author is no longer on the site, this is probably because it has been revised for publication elsewhere.
